No, I'm running the p36 release tar. Using the CVS and bootstrapping doesn't 
work any better than the release. I think the bootstrap just needs to be 
tweaked a little to get all the right scripts in place - it looks like there 
are a couple missing. I'll keep messing with it.  I'll set up a ubuntu VM and 
try it there in a couple days.
