Hi all

I'have discovered owfs and enjoy it, thanks to the developers for this
very good set of softwares.
I run owfs for DSL (bootable CD owfs-dsl-2.7p4) (frugal install on flash
disk)
My 1-wire network on USB (DS9490) have 1xDS18B20 1xDS18S20 2xDS2413
So far everything works fine (I'm starting tests)

However I have this simple question:
On the Maxim 2413 spec page 8 it's written:
To switch the output transistor on, the corresponding bit value is 0. To
switch the output transistor off (non-conducting) the bit must be 1.

On the owfs DS2413 man page it's written:
Writing zero will turn off the switch, non-zero will turn on the switch.

And it works this way, I've tested it (I guess I'm not the first one)
Why this choice to reverse the 0 and 1 ?

Thanks
--
Guy
