I have had the same trouble although slightly different. My server starts owserver and httpd automatically (BTW both use an alias file) from init_d. Now this runs great and rock solid. Then if I manually start owfs, its a 50 -50 chance owserver will fail shortly after. When I can get owfs started and it runs for more than 1-2 minutes it is rock solid. I only run owfs if wanting to download a new program to my BAE910's on the network. rob
