I also did some Debian-packaging now and then (based on Matthias Urlichs
works mainly, which I think I already posted here now&then) but I'd
really love to have someone from the "inner circle-Debian-Guru" to get
owfs upstream into Debian some day. It'd safe regular users much time
and hassles IMHO. And me and you probably also..

My repository, in case it helps, (made for a special platform, based on
lenny, owfs-packing there contains dirty hacks but is 1:1 owfs, although
I'm pretty back in versions as I had many troubles post 2.7p34 and post
2.8p1 with the stability of the DS9490 - our only/main busmaster)

Same for me here.. I guess we'd just need someone to push this "up" if
