Have anyone tested ds2417. I just connected it to power and 1-wire,  
soldered 32.768 watch oscillator and the clock doesn't run.
Writing 1 to running and setting the date by putting null seems to work.  
Just the date stays the same.
I also have DS1904L(RTC in ibutton has all inside) and this one works.

I suspect that the oscillator might be the fault. I bought a small one for  
watches and soldered it right to the chip. It's just a prototype so no  
circuit board. Could it be that I overheated the oscillator? Are those  
elements very sensitive?
