It seems like Farnell is charging US $20 for shipping and handling. Their stated reason is that it is being shipped directly from the UK and that they are not keeping US-based inventory.
Well, call me cheap, but I am not willing to pay a $20 shipping and handling fee for something that costs $35. I am not in a hurry, though, so I'll wait to see how the situation develops. But good luck to everybody that is planning to purchase one soon; it does look like a very good product with lots of potential for us hobbyists and for those planning to build the next killer product around it.
