Dear All,

Thought I'd give you an update on where things are with owfs and RaspberryPi.

Nothing new on the blog after
http://raspberrypi.homelabs.org.uk/owfs-raspberrypi/
which clearly shows owfs working with the USB adaptor.

However some good news on i2c, we've now got working loadable kernel modules.

[ 7.556355] i2c i2c-0: adapter [i2c-gpio0] registered
[ 7.556411] i2c-gpio i2c-gpio.0: using pins 0 (SDA) and 1 (SCL)
[ 7.567607] i2c i2c-1: adapter [i2c-gpio1] registered
[ 7.567664] i2c-gpio i2c-gpio.1: using pins 2 (SDA) and 3 (SCL)
[ 76.870925] i2c /dev entries driver
[ 76.876355] i2c-dev: adapter [i2c-gpio0] registered as minor 0
[ 76.880471] i2c-dev: adapter [i2c-gpio1] registered as minor 1

root@berry:~# ls -l /dev/i2c-*
crw-rw---- 1 root i2c 89, 0 May 17 17:55 /dev/i2c-0
crw-rw---- 1 root i2c 89, 1 May 17 17:55 /dev/i2c-1

Next step is to try some of the i2c 1-wire masters.

Is there any interest in an owfs focused sd card image for raspberrypi ?
If so are there any specific features you'd like to see ?

Stuart
