If you are looking for voltage or current sensors, the DS2438 and DS276x
DS277x Ds278x are all available and cheap. They all have temperature are
well. You can even get samples.
Hobbyboards, EDS and iButtonlink all have temperature and current sensors
available for not too much.
Finally the BAE091x is a family of devices that have many different sensors
and capabilities built in, including a programmable microprocessor.
