Hi, owserver (this is the only component of the package I use) in 2.8p19 does not honor the "-P" option for specifying the pidfile.
[root@titan src]# /opt/owfs/bin/owserver -u -p 4304 --timeout_volatile=0 -P "/var/run/owserver.pid" DEFAULT: ow_opt.c:(689) No PID file specified [root@titan src]# Replacing "-P" with "--pid-file" works.
