Well, it depends on what you want to get. There are as always many ways.. I had some success using $20-30 based OpenWRT-Routers as owserver-"slaves" with a local DS9490 reporting back to a central owserver over simple LAN/WLAN; some things for having a reliable owfs on OpenWRT arent still upstream (in openwrt, not owfs!) but I remember having posted that here as well as on openwrt-dev list..
