Well, actually no. Designing a base board for USB2.0 and Ethernet lines
is by no means simple. You have to match impedances and change track
length and form a lot of times until you get something which roughly
"works". Think about 5..10 iterations through the whole PCB process.


I've done it and decided it wasn't worth the effort, given that each of
these boards shows up and vanishes in a single year. And with the
successor, you have to redesign your baseboard, too.

Hobbyists, stick to boards which have all norm connectors, you save
yourself a lot of PITA.
