No, using dbus is totally out of scope. I'd like to move listening socket creation from owserver (and possibly owhttpd and others network accessible utils) to systemd. It would give owserver 1) on-demand startup; 2) implicit dependencies between owserver and daemons connecting to owserver; 3) ability to restart owserver without breaking connections from utility programs. The change from source code side is quite simple, see for example http://dev.kryo.se/iodine/attachment/ticket/106/patch What I need to do is to read and understand OWFS-capi and other parts of SDK, to not break any of it. -- Tomasz Torcz "God, root, what's the difference?" xmpp: zdzich...@chrome.pl "God is more forgiving." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn Graph Databases - Download FREE O'Reilly Book "Graph Databases" is the definitive new guide to graph databases and their applications.
