Just wondering, how come the project has McAfee_8.7Home.exe in the project root
directory on Sourceforge? And only 7 bytes? ....seems just a little suspect...

Minor improvement -- basically fixes the owfs problem for Markus Gaugusch's
report:
"cat: temperature: Message too long"
The problem is that some tools (like cat) ask for an arbitrary (but large) read
to gather all the data. It used to be 64K but now seems to be 128K which passes
some internal limits.
We now trim the read request before processing.
