Just a small nore: Debian has several owfs-related packages, not only the one actually called owfs. (Ie. owfs-common, owfs-fuse, owftpd, owhttpd, owserver, etc.)
If you want to start from a clean state, and you have not already done so, be sure to remove those, too!
