I think they are talking about the Hobbyboards hub (http://www.hobby-boards.com/store/products.php?product=4-Channel-Hub), not about a 1-Wire master adapter. This 1-Wire hub is seen as a 1-Wire slave so it still requires a 1-Wire master to drive it. In terms of 1-Wire masters, I personally use the LinkUSB (http://www.ibuttonlink.com/products/linkusb) and have been very happy with it.
