I have 3.1p0 installed and running on a Pi. Compiled and ran without any issue.
This is my list of stuff to install, you probably don't need all of this, e.g. mysql sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade sudo apt-get install apache2 php5 php5-cgi php5-mysql libfuse-dev libusb-dev libavahi-client-dev swig fuse-utils automake python-pexpect libapache2-mod-php5 python-dev avahi-daemon python-pip -y sudo apt-get install mysql-server #this needs you to create a password as it runs sudo apt-get install python-mysqldb -y sudo apt-get install i2c-tools then download owfs to /usr/local/src cd /usr/local/src sudo tar zxpf owfs-3.1p0.tar.gz # change to latest version cd owfs-3.1p0 # change to latest version sudo ./configure sudo make sudo make install Let me know if I can provide any additional info.
