Thanks! Yes the package annoys me as the only SMT component on a larger board I use all the time (a Pi Moteino RF HAT). It's the only one I use my homemade reflow oven for (also run using a Pi and owfs). I'd love it if they made a 6 DIP, but I'm not holding my breath.
Plain breakouts are good for prototyping but expensive and large when you are trying to get things into little boxes.
