I am going to switch over to owserver instead of using owfs.
In a transition phase I wanted to use owfs through owserver, so existing
software can continue to run using the fuse directory, while in
background owserver is running already.
After starting owserver, I started owfs with
owfs -s 4304 -m /mnt/1wire --allow_other
which runs fine for the devices, *but not for statistics or errors* and
the like
For example CRC16_errors do *not* get handled through. All errors
staying at zero on the owfs side, while they are changing on the
owserver of course.
Neither is, to name a seconde one, settings/timeout/volatile. If I
change the value from default 15 through a client in owserver, it does
not get updated when I try to read this file through owfs.
Is that a known and normal behaviour?
