In message <51d7464c.1040...@gmx.de> (two years ago), Jan Kandziora <j...@gmx.de> posted a patch to manually control the DS2409. It'd be nice to have something like that in main code (maybe a "selected" r/w value with 0=off 1=main 2=aux) so that people with a busmaster that doesn't support the couplers natively could control them manually.
