Hello! On a whim I collected everything I have for the OWFS, and on the laptop running Slackware64-14.2 I promptly built the current release, which 3,2p2 and allowed it to be installed into the usual place.
Since even though the regular program owfs is indeed built, but the group suggests the HTTP server be used instead, that's what I used. It's running here, and the screen is shown on a browser running on a remote computer. I have it connected to two DS2406 devices, these are in the TO-92 package, and PIO.A on both are connected to input lines on different devices, one is an input for the TI SN7423 quad NOR gate with expanders connected. And the PIO.A on the other is connected to the D input on an SN74H60. Oh and the idea was first tested on a system running Slackware-11.0 and used OWFS and the release was one of the 2.9 series releases. And before that via Windows98SE running inside a VM and the Windows product originally written for 32 bit systems. Therefor it is safe to say this is a win. And I've giving permission for something of a sort to written up for the website. ----- Gregg C Levine gregg.drw...@gmail.com "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again." _______________________________________________ Owfs-developers mailing list Owfs-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/owfs-developers
