I just finished session storage for multiple servers, and I still have to link the login into the file viewer, which basically works but you can't view files yet. I will be happy to continue, as I really like the Enyo framework. I am leaving for school next month so the development might stagnate a little. I think I will wait for a month or so to see what HP does with the WebOS IP. If it dies, the app will die, if it continues, I will be happy to continue development. You can test it with any webkit browser. Just download the source and load index.html in chromium with the --disable-web-security command line option. I am open to more feedback.

Hey Matthew,

what’s the state of the application? Is it possible to list & view files,
download & upload etc.?

If it has basic functionality, we will definitely pull the repository
under the ownCloud project umbrella on Gitorious. Then you are free to
continue developing on it or others can take the lead. We should then also
put up a compiled package somewhere.

Hello Matthew,

I would not invest too much time in a WebOS application as long as it is
not
clear whether this system survives or not.

Hello All:
Aaron Reichman has started, and I am working on a webOS client for
ownCloud. My question becomes, since it seems like HP will be dropping
webOS as a tablet and smartphone platform, is there still enough
interest
in the community for me to continue the application, or should it just
be
dropped? My clone of the repo is at
https://gitorious.org/~mmckeen/owncloud-for-webos/mmckeens-owncloud-for-we
bos if anyone would like to see the progress so far. If there is still
interest, I would be happy to continue developing and maintaining the
application, but if there is no interest, I would prefer to contribute
to
a project with a more steadfast development future.

Best,
Matthew McKeen
