We are creating Libre Docs. It's based on etherpad-lite, the UNG project, and webodf. It is an unhosted web app, which means the data storage is not "inside" the website (on the application host), but "outside" (on the user's remote storage). ownCloud supports remoteStorage (although i need to get round to upgrading it to the new spec), so with LibreDocs.org, launching in March 2012, you have like a Google Docs that stores its data on your ownCloud using cross-origin AJAX, right from your browser. For more info see http://unhosted.org/ - we will start publishing news about Libre Docs on our mailing list, probably today or tomorrow. but since i saw this thread, i thought i would let you know already :) > > Take care, > > Thomas > > -- > Thomas Müller E-Mail: [email protected] > > _______________________________________________ > Owncloud mailing list > [email protected] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/owncloud >
