How did you get that to work?

I've been trying with git ownCloud and Thunderbird 10 following every possible combination of the two URL's listed in the support pages and the calDAV / ICS options in Thunderbird and with/without a trailing slash.

Every time I either get "Momentarily not available" for CalDAV or just that events never show up in ICS.

I'd be curious which option (CalDAV / ICS) you chose and which format of URL. Did you have to do anything not mentioned at http://owncloud.org/support/usage/calendars ?

Hi !

I use Thunderbird with Lightning for several weeks from now and it (CalDAV at least) works very well with OC (git version).

I have some troubles with CardDAV and the Thunderbird addressbook synchronizer module but I think it comes from my server (private SSL certificate).

Thanks for your amazing work on OC,
Jeremy

Hi Guys,

Evert Pot from SabreDAV just sent a mail that SOGo updated their Thunderbird and Lightning connectors. They make it possible to use CardDAV and CalDAV with Thunderbird and Lightning.
Could someone test these programms against ownCloud?

I was just made aware of the fact that the SOGO connector is now updated for Thunderbird 10:

http://www.sogo.nu/english/downloads/frontends.html

So this means that it's finally possible to sync carddav contacts with thunderbird.

Cheers,
Evert
