Hi everyone, My main need is to have a calendar synchronized between my Mac and my phone.
On the server: I installed ownCloud in the straight-forward way. Android: I first installed the owncloud app, in the hope that it would synchronize the calendar, but it looks like it doesn't. So I have installed CalDAV-Sync (http://dmfs.org/caldav/), which works well. In the accounts, I have deactivated all other accounts ; only my ownCloud account is active. Mac: I didn't get any feedback on my original request. But what I did is that I have deleted all the calendars in iCal and add the CalDAV one from my ownCloud. It works fine. Coming from Outlook (under Windows), I am really disappointed by iCal. But that will do it for now. About the other use cases, it looks to me as if the Android app can only handle the upload of files, which works well in my case. The only thing is that the scrolling in the list of local files to upload is really slow. Every time I move up and down, the display takes 1-2 seconds to refresh, which makes going through a long process.
