Don't you think that all fatal error 3rdparty apps shall not be included in the final V4 ? Because you have to rebuild the config, loosing all infos or having a mechanism for automatic backup of the parameters.

May be for future release there should be a check before including them in Release Candidate.

Subject: Re: [Owncloud] Fw: V4 Git - Fatal error - after activating carddavmate

Hi Alain,

I'm the author of that app, though I didn't write CardDavMATE itself but
just integrated it into ownCloud. So yes, it's a 3rd-party app ;)

Unfortunately it's not compatible to OC 4 yet cause of many API changes
between OC 3 and 4, but I'm gonna change that soon. If you have further
questions or problems about the regarding app, please leave a comment on
its app store page on
http://apps.owncloud.com/content/show.php/CardDavMATE?content=150857

Thanks for reporting that error,

Florian

I see 'Internal app' and I suppose the problem being that when you 'enable'
the app it is
downloaded in 'apps' folder and then when you list it, it's an 'internal
app'

I went to try this myself, but I don't get any further than a messagebox
saying "Error".
