Hi Patric, As a developer of this app why I should be responsible for any 3rd party app incompatibility with OC version one is migrating to? I read a number of reports with subject 'My OC is broken on update' here in ML. Most of them was resolved in a way 'everything is working fine after disabling the app ABC in database'. So I don't want anyone to blame and hunt me down with the issues I'm not responsible for.
That's why I just move all non-core apps them to the different location. However I'm planning to disable 3rd-parties and put them back in future. --- Victor On Tue, Oct 9, 2012 at 1:09 PM, Patric Zimmermann < [email protected]> wrote: > > Am 09.10.2012 um 10:09 schrieb Pascal d'Hermilly: > > > On 09-10-2012 09:10, Patric Zimmermann wrote: > >> Because a while back I asked for a similar feature which would enable > pretty anyone who can deal with a browser > >> to update/upgrade their owncloud via an auto-updater sort of thing. > > There is an app for that :-) > > > > //Pascal > > Are you referring to this ??? > http://apps.owncloud.com/content/show.php/Updater?content=153278 > > If so, first of it is a beta so presumingly no option for my productive OC > instance.
