Hi,
I saw that ownCloud requires a somewhat complex set of rewrite rules. I
think it's better to let the application deal with that kind of
'business logic', instead of the webserver. Having a single rewrite rule
that rewrites all requests for non-existing files to a single index.php
makes ownCloud also easier to install on non-Apache webservers.
