Hi,

I'm starting a new thread, as it was definitely way off-topic.

Please, Simon, calm down! It is very easy to fill in the registration form with
something that makes the github syntax checker happy. What is the problem?
Privacy probably is not an issue either, because you are sending it all over
the world on this mailing list.

You are getting software for free, do not want to look into the code yourself,
but want the developers to fix it *for you*. So do them a favor, and make it as
easy as possible for them to keep track of the problem.

I have contributed to several open source projects and always worked in a way
to make it as easy for the community to get to a solution, which is often the
way that the lead developers have chosen. I am very astonished at how calm the
developers react here; I know my tone would not be as nice towards stubborn
people trying to make my life hard and miserable.

PS: I hope we can conclude this "endless war" soon, despite my choice of title
:-)
