Chris,

It happened to me already that I filed a bug on github, and as it
turned out the problem was that the cache in my browser was not
cleared, and I had javascript functions from the pre-upgrade version
after an upgrade. I felt silly to use the time of a developer
unnecessarily. (Although I learned from the experience).

What you describe here is not much of a problem because
a) if its not a bug we sort it out and close it. Even better that its not a bug. Closing a bug is nice thing to do :) b) Being-not-so-experienced in something is no problem. No need to feel stupid or anything. You always can be sure that there are others doing the same thing (wrong) and c) the bug tracker is also a kind of documentation resource. One problem sorted out once stays sorted out for everybody ending up at that problem later...

The only thing that really poisons the work is unfriendly and demanding attitude (which we seldomly see here :-)

Well, we're operating in a difficult area, this whole client<->server stuff is not easy. Rather go and write a poor man's office app if you like it easy ;-P Yes, it demands patience from all of us to get stuff sorted. Thanks for your help on that, I am sure we will get there...
