Hi everyone, we have to make a change in our apps review process. Unfortunately we don't have enough volunteers to review all the new apps and apps updates that are uploaded to apps.owncloud.com in time. This is frustrating for developers who wait weeks until their app is approved and downloadable from the website and installable from inside ownCloud.
After some discussion we do it like that: - All apps that are uploaded to apps.owncloud.com are immediately downloadable from the website. To install one of this apps the ownCloud admin has to put the app manually into he apps folder of the ownCloud installation. This is clearly something that only an experienced admin can do. - The installation from within ownCloud by simply clicking the "Enable" button is still only available for apps that are reviewed and approved by a developer. The review team has to make sure that this "approve " apps are working and are save. I hope that works for everybody. If you want to help with the reviewing of new apps than please send me a message.
