Hello,
It seems Word implements a special input method for your Dutch keyboard
layout which Textpad and the version of the Java virtual machine that
runs Oxygen do not support. Is it a Java 1.5 virtual machine? You could
try with a Java 1.6 one because it has better integration with the
operating system. Other option is to implement such a Java input method
yourself but this is an advanced Java topic.
Regards,
Sorin
PS: I hear that the betting houses think that the Romanian team has
better odds in this match :-) We will wait and see ...

hi Sorin
It's getting confusing now!
I just changed the keyboard shortcut for Split Element from Ctrl+Alt+D to Ctrl+Alt+S (first I removed this from "Schema Documentation"). Now I get the german Ringel-S (ß) instead of the "eth".
When I try to use this shortcuts in Word, I get the standard Word-behaviour (split screen and insert note). But when I try these shortcuts in Textpad, I do get the "eth" and the "ringel-S".
Probably this has something to do with my keyboard setting. Being Dutch, I use the dutch
layout. And I personally like the behaviour that when I type ' followed by "e"
I get the accented é. Dutch uses a lot of accents... not as many as French (hehe... 4-1!
;-)
I don't know what Word does to prevent this standard behaviour, but would it be possible to let oXygen do the same? Without changing the '+e=é?
groet
Theun
PS: Romania eh? What will tonight bring you? :-P
