In addition to that there are also options in Options->Preferences --
Editor -- Diagram that allow you to disable the diagrams for each schema
editor (XML Schema, Relax NG or NVDL).

There are arrows on the divider bar on the left hand side, if you
click the up arrow you can minimise the top side.
