Hello, You can customize the text anti-aliasing method used in Oxygen from Options -> Preferences -> Fonts -> Text antialiasing. You can try different options until you find the one that suits you.
The 'DEFAULT' option means that the operating system anti-aliasing method is used. Unfortunately in Windows XP the default doesn't look very nice.
