Hi Adrian, Thanks for your answer. I understand the aim of this change, it will be much easier to select the whole content attribute. Yes, you can ask me why it's bothering me ! It's a very specific use case, I was working exactly on it when I decided to update OxygenXML to version 18, that's why I noticed the change. It is an use case related to ANT in which I use a pattern in attribute name to which I add a suffix to differentiate attributes of the same scope : <local name=" basename.my.first.suffix"/> <local name=" basename.my.second.suffix"/>
<local name=" otherbasename.my.first.suffix"/> <local name=" otherbasename.my.second.suffix"/> I was easy to double click on the first part of the attribute content and create another element with the same basename with a simple copy/paste and then write the suffix. Now I can do it but I have to erase the part after the basename. And it is also the regular behaviour of text editors, that's why I was a bit surprised. Anyway it's not a big deal, , I'll get used to it. I can confirm this behavior in v18 within attribute values (only). It's not just dot, but also dash "-". Note that this does not affect text. Currently this behavior cannot be changed. The purpose of this is to make it more easy to select an entire ID attribute value, whether it's a multiple value attribute or just a single value attribute. If I may ask, why is this behavior bothering you?
