Yeah but the MVC one isn't acrually a template. It is a project that was pre-configured
I actually figured it out, duplicated the Live webrole template, edited the .vstemplate file. But found that the naming of the .zip file matters a lot! If you don't name it XXXIndywebrole.zip then it won't display as a role when you rightclick -> add new role. If you get the name wrong it still shows up in add new project, but that isn't what we want I'll blog it soon. Depends what I suppose. If you are just adjusting the existing template, I'm sure it sits with all the other VS templates. However if you want to do something like MVC, I'm not sure it will work due to the fact that it uses a different httphandler and httpmodules. Since these won't be setup (yet) in Azure, I doubt the developer fabric will support it either.
