No, they just make the toner relatively cheaper. $700 of toner in a $300 printer is ridiculous, $800 of toner in a $2000 printer is not.
In my case it would have been ~$1000 of toner for an $800 printer (now it’s $570 of toner for the printer and I’ve phoned-in the order). Is that ridiculous? I could have bought a lot of lobster and champagne lunches with that money. I should work in complaints, oh wait, I sort of do, I just make them. Greg
