@Sunny, you're not wrong. It hasn't changed that much since you were last
here...2/3 months ago. ;o)

The website is predominantly HTML. There are interactive elements in Flash,
Silverlight (for videos in our Freezone http://freezone.iinet.net.au) , and
jQuery. Backend queries are also done in Perl/PHP. The Web team also looks
after the Westnet website, which is written in an old school styled ASP.Net.

iiNet is also looking for programmers, so if anyone's looking for some Perl
with their .Net, let me know and I'll put you in touch with the right person.
There is some fascinating work integrating.Net systems with perl/DB2 systems.

If I am not wrong it uses PERL and bits and pieces of flash. (Tiang - please
correct me if I am wrong)

.net is only prominent on westnet systems but is eventually spreading towards
iinet systems when it can.

Question to Tiang Cheng -
I know there are different divisions / projects at iiNet and WestNet, but can
you tell me what coding platform iiNet's main site is using (to my
inexperienced eye, it seems to be PHP-based), and also what the new FetchTV is
using / will use as its platform?
I've been looking at FetchTV's promo information this weekend, and it has a lot
of Flash stuff which I find very irritating (mainly because to print off a page
turns out to be impossible).

Subject: ASP.NET MAC Validation issue

Hi all,

I'm receiving a http web exception "Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this
application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey>
configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm.
AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster."

I've added a machineKey to my web.config under the <system.web>, which defines
a validation key and algorithm. Only it's still coming up with the error still.

Has anyone else had any experience with this error and can point me in the
right direction?

Cheers,
Tiang
