Hi all,

I recently posted a message to the list looking for a PHP developer to
customise our website for selling a few new software products that we're
developing. We've had trouble finding somebody to do the work and lost some
valuable time in the process.

We've revised our requirements and are now happy to go with a new website as
opposed to further customising the existing one. This means that PHP is no
longer a requirement and .NET is an option. We're still specifically after
somebody in the Brisbane area since we've had some bad experiences with
bouncing emails back and forward... If you're interested then please read
on for the details.

We're after a new website to sell a small range of software products. The
first product is still in development and we expect to have it ready for
general release in the first half of September (or sooner). We need the
website to be ready by then, preferably end of August.

The website needs to have all the standard features for selling software,
for example:

   - allow users to purchase and download products (including volume
   discounts)
   - integrate licensing system (we're currently looking at
CryptoLicensing<http://www.ssware.com/cryptolicensing/cryptolicensing_net.htm>,
which integrates with PayPal and others out of the box, but open to
   suggestions)
   - allow users to download trial and free products
   - users will be required to login / register in order to access downloads
   - include a member's area where users can log in, manage their account
and view their license keys (not strictly required initially)
   - allow for subscriptions - users will initially purchase the product
with a 1 year subscription allowing them to download updates for free, after
that they'll need to renew their subscription or re-purchase the product in
   order to download it
   - allow us to upload new builds
   - include a few pages for product information (i.e. overview, features,
   user guides, FAQ, etc.)
   - allow us to post videos (we may actually embed videos hosted on a
YouTube channel as opposed to hosting the videos ourselves)
   - include at least one blog (for 'news', needs to include RSS feed,
   additional blogs would be nice)

Contact me off list if you're interested.

Cheers,
Matt.
