Not sure if the office interop assemblies would help you, for access 97. Bill McCarthy may be able to help you with many Access things, if he's listening.
Access VBA has a timer, interval up to 600 hours. _____ Ian Thomas Victoria Park, Western Australia _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Greg Keogh Sent: Thursday, November 11, 2010 6:26 AM To: 'ozDotNet' Subject: Access and .NET COM events I had no previous reply on this and web searches are not looking promising. Before proceeding with certain design decisions we have to find out if an Access 97 (and later version) VBA code can listen to events from a .NET COM component that the app has referenced. Searches reveals no matching articles or tutorials so far, just lots of stuff about Access internal events. Does anyone know if Access can listed to events from a COM component? Otherwise, does Access have a Timer so the app can at least poll for completion of along running call? Greg _____ No virus found in this message.
