I might give that a go but I am not sure how well that will work. Still nothing ventured nothing gained.

Rather than move it to a standard dll, I might try COM instead. I have not used COM very much at all, so this require some learning.

There's one (TurnSharp <https://www.turnsharp.com/delphi-to-csharp.aspx>) that supports .NET 4.0 Framework and money-back if not 90%+ (not a great metric, really), with a trial version.
