If we want to be pedantic about the comparison, your apples and oranges post is clearly way off base, as it would be more closer to comparing a slightly bigger apple than normal, to an apple slightly bigger than that. I foolishly assumed that from that action, I could use my magical powers of inference to figure out what a monitor from the same company, which is 11.111111111~% bigger would go for. If you are sure the 27" will go for $650-$700 when the retail cost is $800... do you think it's possible that your screen would go for $1100 considering it was $1900?

I don't think that is much of a precedence, you're comparing apples to
oranges here. The 30" still cost 1900 brand new, while the 27" is at
800 mark.
I'm sure that 27" listing will end at 650 at least or 700.
