Like David suggest, you need to give more details other than "does not work" ;)
Personally, I keep all VB builds done in a XP VM. Less likely to have "DLL Hell" issues. Chances are he/she is have dependency issues with deployment. If so, try compiling it in a clean XP (Sp3 preferably) VM, and see how they go. |-----Original Message----- |From: [email protected] [mailto:ozdotnet- |[email protected]] On Behalf Of Simon Kuldin |Sent: Thursday, 24 March 2011 4:12 PM |To: [email protected] |Subject: compile VB6 dll to work on Windows 7 32bit | |Hi there everyone, | | | |One of my co-workers is having an issue where some DLL's they've developed |in VB6 on Vista, does not work when deployed on Windows 7. | | | |Any ideas what the issue may be? | | | | | |Simon Kuldin | Senior Technical Consultant | PRISM | |Suite 3, 214 Bay St Brighton, VIC 3186, Australia | |P: +61 3 9596 8633 M: 0408 310 957 W: www.prism-solutions.com.au |<http://www.prism-solutions.com.au/> | | | |prism-v5.jpg | |People.
