One thing I found with a lot of the third-party web controls though (including Telerik) is that they are pretty heavy. It is very easy to end up with web pages approaching 1mb if you are not careful! This is less of a problem if it is an internal app and you have high speed LAN, but for public facing app can be an issue. Because of this in my latest app I just use jQuery & jQuery UI with only required components and a couple of extensions used judiciously. And made sure to optimise as much as possible so the scripts are not downloaded every time and cached. Craig www.YoureOnTime.com
