Don't laugh..but i use an iMac + time-machine. That being said i have apple
TV's + XBMC on them so it makes sense.. i then have a small UI Automation
app i wrote that copies files from occasionally connected clients i own to
backup when idle (ie laptops etc).

Its how i roll.
