It was freezing when the BIOS was reset with so-called safe default values. >Otherwise, you changed the speed of 'something', but you're not sure what it is? J Yep, I changed two things, but if I get time on the weekend I'll undo one of them and see if it goes back to being on the fritz. You know of course that if I undo both things that I changed, then following the law of the television repairman, it will continue working. Then as usual I will not know what was wrong or what went right. Greg
