What about temporarily switching to developer SQL server and looking at the profiler?

This makes perfect sense, but it's quite heavy handed and I was hoping that there would be a more specific and lightweight place to hook in, either in SQLite or in EF4. If I try this wrapper provider out I'll let you know what happens -- Greg __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 6305 (20110718) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com
