Has anyone had any success intalling the Windows Mobile 6 SDK refresh onto
VS 2008 Prof. (SP1 ). Some of our PDA'a are still on this platform and we
need a second workstation that can compile.
It fails on pre-requisites. No problem with active sync or CF 2.0 sp2. It
just doesn't recoginise VS 2008. Says I need VS2005 or later.
The refresh came out in 2007 so there is every chance that it simply isn't
smart enough to spot VS 2008 under certain circumstances.
I've read all the stuff - and there is heaps about how it doesn't work with
this or that (mainly standard editions) and lots of comments that are
unprintable from devs that use some other platform.
Anyway, uninstalling and so on isn't going to happen and the only
alternative would appear to be a clean install. Aaargh.
