That is a pretty good question at this point. :)

Another random thing I found out a couple of months ago, keep in mind that
when you get down to choosing hashing algorithms, depending on what you're
doing and what is on your network automatically choosing SHA256 (as you
might otherwise) may/will lead to compatibility problems with Windows ADCS
implementations in Windows XP/Server 2003.
