Hello, This ML is too quite!
Anyone doing any projects way off the beaten track? Beaten track being the usual bean counting GUI/Asp.net front end to DB business bean counting apps. Long time ago somebody mentioned some distributed framework done in .net here. My question is if we were to start running our own SETI'esque project these a days, would we have to do all the nuts and bolts from scratch or the might of .net framework has reached a stage where we can just pick the relevant parts and focus on the plumbing in between? If anyone doing anything other than bean counting apps, or knows someone in uni working a cool research project please share, it is Friday. Regards Arjang
