Hi everyone, In Visual Studio 2012, when you connect to a SQL server 2008 database in server explorer and create a new query or open a view, the query designer opens with the diagram, sql, criteria and results panes. You can also change what panes show by default in Options à Database Tools à Query and View Designers.
When you open a SQL Server 2012 database in server explorer, the query and view designers are not available. You can create a new query in sql only and you can display View results but there seems to be no way of editing a View. The default pane settings under Query and View Designers are all still ticked. Does anyone know of a way of re-enabling the query and view designers for SQL Server 2012 databases in VS 2012? If not, is there a plugin for VS 2012 with similar functionality?
